Starting in Long Beach, New York, begin by heading southwest on West Park Avenue toward National Boulevard for approximately 1.5 miles. Continue onto Lido Boulevard and travel for another 2.8 miles.
Next, use the left two lanes to turn left onto Loop Parkway, following signs for the Hurricane Evacuation Route. Continue on Loop Parkway for 2.5 miles, then use the left two lanes to take the ramp toward the Meadowbrook Parkway North, heading in the direction of Mineola. Merge onto the Meadowbrook State Parkway North and continue for 7.8 miles. Take exit M4 toward Stewart Avenue, staying in the right lane, then continue on the ramp toward Eisenhower Park for another mile.
Merge onto Stewart Avenue briefly, then use the left two lanes to turn left onto Merrick Avenue. After 0.8 miles, use the right two lanes to turn right onto Old Country Road and drive for 1.6 miles.
